There’s a lifetime
Through the fog

A few weeks ago, I was awoken by a dream that incorporated a fog that seemed so dense that is was impenetrable.  Just as I approached the hanging cloud, it began to break apart and the illusion of the wall of condensation shattered.

Since that night, I have  been pondering the dream and what message it was bringing to me.  I’ve come to the conclusion that it was a parallel line to the process of spiritual awakening.

When we’re in the state of unawareness of self and Spirit, the meaning of life seems distant, unavailable, and hard to imagine.  The world of Spirit appears like a veil, not of lace, but of brick and mortar.  It resembles the fog in the early morning hours when it seems as if it will never lift.

As the process of spiritual awakening unfolds, it is not unlike the moment when you are engulfed in fog and begin to see the outline of objects directly in front of you.  You realize the veil of brick is really a veil of lace.  Images are fuzzy and distorted, but the illusion is being chipped away.  Spirit is felt and sensed, yet still mysterious.

Eventually, as morning blossoms, the fog disperses.  Pockets of clarity can be seen.  The sun pokes through the open spaces.  When pockets of clarity poke through spiritual awakening, it feels like the sunshine of beauty and love shine upon you.  Maybe not for great lengths of time, but for long enough to gain the realization that Spirit not only exists, but it is available for you.

Finally, on a foggy day, there comes a moment when you break free of the fog and this dewy fresh land emerges.  Everything is pristine and crisp.  So too, there comes a moment on the spiritual journey to awakening when you break free and step into the wonder and brilliance of understanding.

My hope for you and for me today is that we burst forth bravely from our foggy limitations and awaken from our illusions to see the clearness of who we really are… the perfect manifestations of God’s love!

What is the value in trusting?  What benefit is there to trusting God, trusting your intuition, and trusting your self?   Well, according to Dr. David Hawkins, there is tremendous benefit to trusting.  The emotion of trust calibrates at 250 on Hawkins Scale of Consciousness.  At the level of 250, people allow for flexibility and possibility.  They aren’t stuck in rigid thought that prevents them from seeing the mysteries in life.  When aligning with this level of consciousness, inner confidence begins and a sense of greater freedom emerges.

When trusting in God, people give their attention to the pulsating life force that exists in and around all things.  This trust brings one into flow with the universe in such a way as to open to all the good life has to offer.  Trusting in God stamps a certainty and confidence with all that is divine.

As an individual explores the concept of trusting intuition and trusting self, a reliance upon inner knowing is experienced.  It is done through senses whether it arrives as sensations, images, words, or sounds.  Through trusting self, harmony and balance are sure to follow.

If you are finding yourself in a place or time that is calling for trust, follow your heart and inner wisdom.  Trust that you are a wise being that has strength and knowing.

My Serenity Prayer

God grant me a clearness of mind and heart
so that I may walk my path with clarity.

 How to find serenity

breathe. Breathe not from the shallowness of your chest, but from the depth of your belly.  Allow your breath to breathe you.  You and your breath are one.  Feel your breath move from the tips of your toes to the top of your head to the ends of your fingers.

be still. Stop…even for just a moment.  Stop the constant movement of body.  Stop the constant movement of mind. Stop and be still.

be quiet. Quietness gives space to serenity.  Its a kind of surrender.  In the quiet, you will hear volumes.

listen. Listen to the wisdom that seeps from every cell in your body.  Listen to your intuition which is life’s best guide.  Breathe, be still, be quiet, and listen.

open your heart. When your heart is open, acceptance has a place to reside and serenity is possible.  Open your heart and allow love to be received and given.  When love is flowing, serenity is the by product.

seek joy. Smile.  Look for moments that surprise you and beauty that is around the next bend.  Find joy because it is yours for the taking.

be one with all. See that the man standing on the corner asking for money is your brother.  See that the woman delivering your mail is your sister.  See that the gentleman in the wheel chair at the nearest nursing home is your father, and the lady selling her pies at the church fundraiser is your mother.  See the earth and all its creatures as an extension of yourself.

Every breath we take, every step we make, can be filled with peace, joy, and serenity. We need only to be awake, alive in the present moment.”

The Map of Consciousness, created by Dr. David R. Hawkins and his team of consciousness researchers, is a logarithmic scale of 1-1000. One point on the Map of Consciousness is exponential in nature and is a quantum leap above the point below it. Where is Jesus on the Map of Consciousness?

• 600 on The Map of Consciousness is the entryway into enlightenment.
• 1000 is the level at which life’s avatars (those who comprehend advanced states of enlightenment) like Jesus and The Buddha reside. 1000 is the highest level one can be and still remain in the body. When someone at this level of consciousness resides on the planet, she/he has the power to offset the negativity of the entire planet!

There are now over 22 people residing on the planet today that calibrate at 600 or above. HOLY MOLY! This is significant if you consider the fact that there was a period of time, now termed The Dark Ages when no one on the planet calibrated above the level of 600 for Hundreds of Years! There is SERIOUS change going on now and we all are a part of it!

Acceptance calibrates at 350 on the Map of Consciousness (see below). It is an exceptionally positive level of energy and may be considered an entryway to the understanding that one is the “source and creator” of one’s life and experiences. An individual “vibrating” at or near these  levels of consciousness has the power to counterbalance the negativity of more than 90 thousand people below the life affirming consciousness level of 200.

It is a quantum leap above the level of willingness which is calibrated at 310 on the map of consciousness and is discussed on our page about willingness and willingness to change. Click here for more about willingness.

“At this level of awareness, a major transformation takes place, with the understanding, that one is oneself the source and creator of the experience of one’s life. Taking such responsibility is distinctive of this degree of evolution, characterized by the capacity to live harmoniously with the forces of life….

…Acceptance allows engagement in life on life’s own terms, without trying to make it conform to an agenda.There’s emotional calm with acceptance, and perception is widened as denial is transcended….

Acceptance has to do essentially with balance, proportion, and appropriateness…”

These are simply examples of what the level of acceptance looks and feels like. You know where acceptance resides easily for you. Take that feeling and apply it to something new in your life, and start at a place that is relatively easy and new to do. That will come in time and with practice of allowing this energy…level of consciousness…good good good vibration…. into more aspects of your life.

In this blog we discuss levels of consciousness as calibrated by Dr. David R Hawkins in his decades of exploration into the study of consciousness. The power inherent in higher levels of consciousness can be better understood when you look at Dr. Hawkins Map of Consciousness and see where the power “to be the change you wish to see in the world” exists.

On the Map of Consciousness, Mahatma Ghandi calibrated at 760*. Someone calibrating at 760 has the enormous authority to counterbalance the negativity  of more than 70 million people* calibrating below the level of integrity of 200 on the Map of Consciousness…just by being who they are.

For the sake of relativity and based on Dr. Hawkins findings, here’s some fascinating information:

• 78% of the population of the earth calibrates below 200 on the Map of Consciousness.

Unconditional Love is what a child is

Unconditional love, in regards to levels of consciousness, calibrates at 540 on Dr. David R. Hawkins Map of Consciousness. The true and pure experience of JOY resides at this level of awareness as well.

It is a rare human being that lives at this state of awareness or above. An individual “vibrating” at this level of awareness has the Power to offset the negativity of 750,000 people below the life affirming consciousness level of 200.

It is an extremely powerful vibration and place to BE. The energy (you may call it vibration) at this level is transformative and life changing.

You can introduce the “vibration” or energy of pure and true UNCONDITIONAL LOVE & JOY into your life every day by connecting to your heart and focusing on the energy of Unconditional Love and Joy.

Unconditional Love can easily be found in observing a loved one exhibiting qualities you so admire and love in them. Take the time to enjoy the beauty in another and appreciate their true inner beauty. It fills my heart with joy and love every time I take the time to do this and remember who is behind the eyes of every living thing. Seeing the beauty in all living things is immensely transcendent and opens you up to the flow of grace in not only that moment, but life itself.

These are simply examples of where you can “feel” or “tune into” the frequency of unconditional love. You know where it resides easily for you. Take that feeling and apply it to something new in your life, and start at a place that is relatively easy and new to do. I don’t necessarily suggest making a leap into an area that would be hard for you to allow Unconditional Love. That will come in time and with practice of allowing this energy into more aspects of your life.

Because I, the writer of this post have experienced this level of awareness, I would like to share with you the magnificence of this experience and state of being. It is beyond words and beyond any experience you could imagine having. Nothing else matters at this level….ego gratification, material desires, occupational accomplishment all dissolves and is meaningless relative to this experience.

It is not beyond anyone to have this experience. All you have to do is ask and know it is yours for simply the asking. You also have to let it go and allow it to come. In the mean time focus on loving, unconditionally, every living thing.

So I’ve been thinking about a list of New Years resolutions ideas. And this list of New Years resolutions is seemingly out of the ordinary, but really addressing the root of many of our problems, issues and conditions. So why not consider a different approach to your New Years resolutions in 2010?

4. Take responsibility for everything you experience in your life good or bad. You’ve attracted it, you’ve created it…..more on this topic soon.

7. Allow yourself to express how you feel at every moment. You are perfection playing itself out in all of creation. You will continually be presented with situations that need to be fully expressed. Don’t judge it! ….for more on this topic click here.
8. Sit down. Make a list of the top 100 things you want to create, experience, and be in your life. (and while you are doing this make sure you are in a light happy uplifted mood. Have FUN!) Choose NOW what you want! Decide you no longer wish to “live by default”.
9. Ask for assistance and guidance often. When you start tuning in to your willingness to change and willingness to receive it “shows up” every time! REALLY! I do it all the time now and it’s quite amazing and fun…yet always turn inward to discern the truth of any matter.
10. KNOW that YOU ARE PERFECT at absolutely every moment of every day of every breath of your life! We all are (believe it or not). All highly conscious beings and avatars of history know this to be true and experience it in their awareness as true. We are all simply “God Godding”…”Life Lifing”…”Consciousness Being”! There is NO other!
