Breaking Through The Fog of Spiritual Awakening
There’s a lifetime
Through the fog
Marie Digby
A few weeks ago, I was awoken by a dream that incorporated a fog that seemed so dense that is was impenetrable. Just as I approached the hanging cloud, it began to break apart and the illusion of the wall of condensation shattered.
Since that night, I have been pondering the dream and what message it was bringing to me. I’ve come to the conclusion that it was a parallel line to the process of spiritual awakening.
When we’re in the state of unawareness of self and Spirit, the meaning of life seems distant, unavailable, and hard to imagine. The world of Spirit appears like a veil, not of lace, but of brick and mortar. It resembles the fog in the early morning hours when it seems as if it will never lift.
As the process of spiritual awakening unfolds, it is not unlike the moment when you are engulfed in fog and begin to see the outline of objects directly in front of you. You realize the veil of brick is really a veil of lace. Images are fuzzy and distorted, but the illusion is being chipped away. Spirit is felt and sensed, yet still mysterious.
Eventually, as morning blossoms, the fog disperses. Pockets of clarity can be seen. The sun pokes through the open spaces. When pockets of clarity poke through spiritual awakening, it feels like the sunshine of beauty and love shine upon you. Maybe not for great lengths of time, but for long enough to gain the realization that Spirit not only exists, but it is available for you.
Finally, on a foggy day, there comes a moment when you break free of the fog and this dewy fresh land emerges. Everything is pristine and crisp. So too, there comes a moment on the spiritual journey to awakening when you break free and step into the wonder and brilliance of understanding.
My hope for you and for me today is that we burst forth bravely from our foggy limitations and awaken from our illusions to see the clearness of who we really are… the perfect manifestations of God’s love!

Be The Sun And Let The World Spin Around You
Sunshine is my quest. ~Winston Churchill
The glorious sun with its beaming light is my choice for spiritual thoughts this morning. Why you ask? Well, as I think about the sun it reflects to me a stationary orb of illumination that supplies our Earth with warmth and light. It remains shining, even in darkness.
As I watch the drama of the world around me, I realize that I have choices. I can succumb to chaos and swirl through my day or I can choose to be the sun. I can be firmly rooted in space and illuminate those who rotate around me.
The sun doesn’t hide from life or refuse to get involved. Instead, it radiates constantly despite what’s happening around it. It does what the sun was meant to do…shine.
See if the sun can be your inspiration today. Instead of bowing down to turmoil, do what you were meant to do which is shine and allow the world to spin around you.
As for me, I am setting an intention to use Winston Churchill’s inspirational quote and allowing sunshine to be my quest.

Mother Mary Comes to Me….Let It Be, Let It Be…
And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
The Beatles
Inspirational messages are all around us and a few weeks ago they came to me through The Beatles’ song “Let It Be”. It happened as I drove down to be with my family because my mother was hospitalized. Distraught, saddened, and wanting to change the circumstances for everyone, I began to pray fervently. My plea was for peace and love for my mother and father.
When my amen was uttered, the very next song on my radio was Xavier Rudd’s version of “Let It Be” by The Beatles. I listened to those profound words of “Mother Mary comes to me speaking words of wisdom, let it be”, and I knew that Mother Mary was answering my prayer right then and there. So for the remainder of the time that my family was in crisis, I repeated those wise words over and over. I sent my family love and peace and released the need to fix the situation. I allowed the inspirational messages of “let it be” to reverberate through my head. The result? Peace for myself and a knowing that I wasn’t alone in one of my darkest moments.
Today allow inspirational messages to come to you because I wholeheartedly believe they will. If you’re in a dark moment, allow the words from The Beatles to bring you peace…”Let it be.” We cannot control or change another, so allow the power of letting it be to bring you comfort. I’m sending each one of you love and peace and may God’s inspirational messages surround you today and always.

Opening To Possibility Through the Practice of the Art of Allowing
Through allowing, you become what you are; vast, spacious. You become whole. You are not a fragment anymore, which is how the ego perceives itself. Your true nature emerges, which is one with the nature of God
Eckhart Tolle
Eckhart Tolle’s description of allowing is expansive. It gives a sense of granting life a free pass to be as it is. The art of allowing is a grand concept that appears simple on the surface, yet as you dive into the action of allowing, you realize the depth of its meaning. The art of allowing is an acceptance of what is and what is possible. It’s a stepping aside or surrendering.
Let’s look at the art of allowing from a holistic perspective. On an emotional level, allowing is being in tune to what is bubbling to the surface, granting that emotion permission to express itself, and then accepting its presence.
Physically, the art of allowing is recognizing and being aware of the subtle, or not so subtle, sensations pulsing through the body at any given moment. It’s a cooperation between the wisdom of the cells and the wisdom of the soul.
Allowing on a spiritual level is a belief in the knowing that you are loved beyond measure and joy is yours to be embraced. It’s faith in your connection to Spirit and all that exists.
Finally, the art of allowing in relationship to others is the ability to forgo “rightness”, to leave behind judgment, and to grant each person the freedom to be who they are in the moment.
This month try practicing the art of allowing and see if you feel more freedom, more expansion, and more whole.

Small Miracles, Little Miracles…Tis the Season to Expect Miracles
“The greatest miracle is the opening of the human heart to the generosity of God.”
…Father Thomas Keating
I love hearing true miracle stories of miraculous events that have occurred around the world such as the town in Bosnia, Medugorie, that was spared harm during the civil war even though it was three miles from direct conflict and experienced bombs dropping on the village. Miraculously, those bombs never detonated. Miracles of God? You decide…iImages of Mother Mary have been seen since 1981 until present day in that village, and there are pilgrimages set up to visit Medugorie.
Just like waking up on Christmas morning as a child and seeing what Santa had given me, I feel that same childlike wonder when I am privy to very meaningful yet seemingly small miracles every day. They strengthen my belief in possibility. That is why we have selected miracles as our focus for December. For some reason, the world is a little more accepting of miracles this time of year and are seemingly more in need of miracles.
My husband and I recently experienced a little miracle of our own. Last month, we had some financial blockages and were needing the flow of money to once again release . My husband picked up our mail one day and unexpectedly, within the pile of mail, was a check for $800. We didn’t recognize the sender nor the company that printed the check. Initially, probably because of our lack of belief, we both thought the check must be a scam.
However, our curiosity got the best of us, and we took the check to the bank. Low and behold, the check was 100% legitimate. As we left the bank, $800 richer, the two of us marveled at our blessing.
With so many people driven by the media, I have observed a sense of hopelessness. It seems that strength has wavered. But, I am here to tell you today that we must hold onto our knowing, our belief in the improbable, and our soft spot in the center of our being.
We must always expect miracles especially the small miracles. They are not only possible, they are essential. God’s work, when accepted, will surpass our limited human constructs every time…just look at what he accomplished with Jesus.
So please, open your heart to the wonderment that life has to offer. Look for signs that you are not alone. Expect miracles around the next corner or…in your mailbox.
At Seeds of Intentions, you are our miracles. You, our customers, support the vision we have to inspire others and to live in authenticity for the good of all. We never take for granted the gifts we receive. Thank you from the deepest part of our hearts and may your holidays be flooded with true miracles.

Meaning of Cornucopia Brings Essence of Abundance and Gratitude
Many people use a cornucopia, also known as a horn of plenty, as their centerpiece on Thanksgiving. The meaning of cornucopia has its origins in Greek mythology. It is said that when Zeus was born he was taken to Crete to be cared for by Melisseus’s (king of Crete) daughters, so that he could be hidden from his father, Cronus. The daughters tucked young Zeus in a bed that hung from a tree. This was so that he could not be found. The daughter’s goat, Amalthea, fed the baby her milk. At some point, Zeus broke off one of the goat’s horns which he empowered with the gift of being filled with whatever the receiver wished. Then Zeus gave the goat’s horn to the King’s daughters to thank them for caring for him. Because of this, the cornucopia given by Zeus became a symbol of abundance.
So, how does this symbol fit into our lives today. Displaying a cornucopia can remove our fear of scarcity and replace it with the magic of Zeus’s prosperity. It can help us shift our attention from lack… to enough. Everything that we need is provided for us. All we have to do is believe.
Happy Thanksgiving and may your cornucopia be filled with everything you desire.

Search For Light, Even on Your Darkest Days and Set Yourself Free
“Light will someday split you open even if your life is now a cage.” Hafiz
Everyone of us, I’m certain of it, has felt enclosed in the cage of life. Whether it’s being caged by negative thinking, caged by the past, or caged for some other reason, everyone has experienced the sensation of being trapped. Guess w
hat? It’s time to set yourself free! You can allow the light within you to split you open and release all the potential that has been hidden away. You can release the negative thinking. You can release your past. How do you do this? You do this by changing your thoughts. Your thoughts create your reality. Your thoughts create your sense of being caged or of being free. You can do this by living in the present. That means staying fully awake in this moment. For instance right now, as I’m writing this, I have awakened to birds chirping and the soft summer breeze blowing. What are you waiting for? Open that cage door, set yourself free, and let the light engulf your whole being!
One thing I do to inspire myself on those days where I feel caged is to light luxury candles, sit in a wonderful tub of yumminess, read inspirational books, listen to healing music and sip on a cup of chai tea. If you feel that same need, we have all of the items on our website to get you started. Just click on the links and spoil yourself. You deserve it!
Additionally, take a look at this video and watch Liz highlight some luxury candles.

Release Your Inner Dam and Create Peace of Mind
“Suffering is not holding you. You are holding suffering.
When you become good at the art of letting sufferings go,
then you’ll come to realize how unnecessary it was for you
to drag those burdens around with you. You’ll see that no
one else other than you was responsible. The truth is that
existence wants your life to become a festival.”
~Osho~
A dam is a barrier built as a way to confine or control the flow of water. When a dam is constructed the natural water cycle is interrupted. The migration and habitat of the local species are compromised and often times are eradicated. The vegetation is cleared and removed.
When we, as humans, create barriers within ourselves that confine our flow of emotions, we interrupt the natural cycle of our lives. We compromise our peace of mind and even eradicate our love of self and others. We remove our ability to trust, and we clear possibilities for freedom.
To liberate the inner dam of self, it takes a willingness to release. With release comes freedom from resistance. Energy can flow unattached to outcomes. A sense of well being and lightness of spirit can emerge. Release means that we can let go of the past and open to forgiveness.
Today be in the natural flow of health at every level of being: spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Allow yourself to experience the peace and love you so deserve. Release your inner dam and create peace of mind. Heal your life!
Liz has a video that supports the process of release. Check it out.

Walking The Labyrinth, Walking Toward Insight

Today I walked my first labyrinth. I really don’t know that much about labyrinths, but I do know that I was called to walk the community built one in Carbondale, Colorado today. It sits in a precarious space in a dog park. People looked at me strangely this morning as I walked around the dog park without a dog, even the dogs were confused. But, I wasn’t. I knew right where I was headed.
To clarify, labyrinth, are spiritual tools that take the participant on a sacred journey. It is not a maze because a maze is like a puzzle that must be solved. The “journeyer” uses strategy and know-how to get through the maze. In a labyrinth, it is a path with no stumbling blocks and no dead ends. Where you enter is the same place you exit. It is meant to symbolize lifes journey from going within toward the center of self, and when ready, heading back out to be with others. Many people use a labyrinth as a meditation tool and prayer walking.
I used it for insight today. I had a question on my mind and wanted to see if I could find an answer within the labyrinth. My question was this, “What steps do I need to take in order to move Seeds of Intentions forward? What blocks do I need to clear?” Walking the labyrinth three times must have been the charm because insight came to me in the middle of the third walking meditation. (I’m not sure that I was supposed to walk it three times, but that’s how long it took me to quiet my mind and receive.) Here is what I heard:
Don’t wait for joy. Find joy in the here and now. Be satisfied with where you are today because where you are is just where you need to be. When you can be joyful with what is, you won’t need to be concerned with what isn’t.
Bam! Pow! That insight stopped me on my labyrinth journey like a Muhamad Ali one-two-punch on steroids . It’s simple, yet so meaningful for me. Joy is mine to experience today. So, that is my charge, that is my focus. I finding joy today in what is.
Maybe my labyrinth insight speaks to you today as well. Maybe walking a labyrinth is in your cards. If so, investigate where the nearest one is, or better yet, make one yourself.

Inspirational Messages Created Through the Help of Mark Twain Quotes
Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.-Mark Twain
So, I do appreciate Mark Twain quotes on life , but I would make some modifications on this particular one. The term “Small people” suggests superiority over another. I choose to perceive others in a state of appreciation and remember that we are all at a different place in our conscious awareness. I would loosely define “small people” as those that do not appreciate or comprehend our own level of perspective and awareness. They are not there yet and have a limited point of view….at this moment.
I love the analogy from “Conversations with God” books which emphasizes if you can appreciate that all of life is going through school on one level or another (and age has nothing to do with it) then you would not call someone “small” if you realized that they were still in nursery school on a subject while you were in high school on the same subject. You would simply appreciate and understand their perspective and allow them their way. You would also accept that there are things in your own life that you have yet to understand. You are still in the beginning stages of school yourself.
We all know who the “small people” are in our lives. Sometimes it is best to keep ambitions to yourself or share them only with those that support you. Vibrationally, those that support you are in alignment with your greatest potential and assist you in maintaining your alignment.
“Small people” don’t help you and send your alignment “vibrationally” in the opposite direction. Don’t give negative attention to those in your life that you would consider “small”.
This blog is an invitation to only offer compassion and kindness and allow them to “be right”. This way of being is much more in alignment with who you really are and who you want to be. …again.
