Everyone of us, I’m certain of it, has felt enclosed in the cage of life. Whether it’s being caged by negative thinking, caged by the past, or caged for some other reason, everyone has experienced the sensation of being trapped. Guess what? It’s time to set yourself free!  You can allow the light within you to split you open and release all the potential that has been hidden away. You can release the negative thinking. You can release your past. How do you do this?  You do this by changing your thoughts. Your thoughts create your reality.  Your thoughts create your sense of being caged or of being free. You can do this by living in the present. That means staying fully awake in this moment. For instance right now, as I’m writing this, I have awakened to birds chirping and the soft summer breeze blowing. What are you waiting for? Open that cage door, set yourself free, and let the light engulf your whole being!

One thing I do to inspire myself on those days where I feel caged is to light luxury candles, sit in a wonderful tub of yumminess, read inspirational books, listen to healing music and sip on a cup of chai tea.  If you feel that same need, we have all of the items on our website to get  you started.  Just click on the links and spoil yourself.  You deserve it!

]]> http://www.spiritual-blog.com/2010/11/search-for-light-even-on-your-darkest-days-and-set-yourself-free/feed/ 1 Healing Through Inspirational Music http://www.spiritual-blog.com/2010/02/healing-through-inspirational-music/ http://www.spiritual-blog.com/2010/02/healing-through-inspirational-music/#comments Mon, 15 Feb 2010 23:14:18 +0000 Amy http://www.spiritual-blog.com/?p=68 Songs of Spirit Healing Music Healing SoundsA few weeks ago, I received an inspirational message through healing music by Xavier Rudd.  I was walking beside the river near my Colorado home, and I came upon a pile of river rocks.  Anytime those shiny, smooth energy stones cross my path I look for a special one to take home, and this day was no exception.  A rock in the shape of Mother Mary called to me that day.  It was the spitting image of the Madonna.  I remember thinking what a lovely gift from the Earth… but no sooner had that thought crossed my mind when a song started playing on my Ipod.  It was a song I had never run across before when I pushed the shuffle button.  It was Xavier Rudd’s song, “Partners” off his album entitled Solace.  The words literally stopped me in my tracks.  One line was “She will come and take your hand.  She will help you understand.” and another was “She will bring you to your peace, in times when you feel weak.”  It was such an inspirational and timely message for me brought forth through the power of  music, lyrics, and Mother Mary.
