Healing Through Inspirational Music
A few weeks ago, I received an inspirational message through healing music by Xavier Rudd. I was walking beside the river near my Colorado home, and I came upon a pile of river rocks. Anytime those shiny, smooth energy stones cross my path I look for a special one to take home, and this day was no exception. A rock in the shape of Mother Mary called to me that day. It was the spitting image of the Madonna. I remember thinking what a lovely gift from the Earth… but no sooner had that thought crossed my mind when a song started playing on my Ipod. It was a song I had never run across before when I pushed the shuffle button. It was Xavier Rudd’s song, “Partners” off his album entitled Solace. The words literally stopped me in my tracks. One line was “She will come and take your hand. She will help you understand.” and another was “She will bring you to your peace, in times when you feel weak.” It was such an inspirational and timely message for me brought forth through the power of music, lyrics, and Mother Mary.
Since then I’ve been thinking about how music can be healing and can inspire us. On our Seeds of Intentions website,
you’ll fine two amazing albums to bless you with the gift of healing music, sound healing and healing sounds. Both are by the amazing and inspirational, Norma Gentile. Norma finds her own inspiration through the ancient chants of the German Christian mystic, Hildebrand. When you listen you’ll feel the sounds of Norma’s voice and the powerful energy of the chants flow through you in a way that can’t help bring healing to your body, mind and spirit.
Don’t miss the track “Three Beauties Create Sacred Space” off of her new album Songs of Spirit. When I listened to it the first time, I could feel my heart vibrating with the music. Undoubtedly, healing was happening in my body.
You’ll find Songs of Spirit and Healing Chants, both by Norma Gentile on the Seeds of Intentions website. Be inspired and healed by music. Music is not only heard by ears, but through every cell in our bodies. Let music be the conduit to your own healing.
