All of us have within us the ability to find our inner peace keeper.  Regardless where our emotions are located, we can journey inward toward our soul that is eternally at peace.  Mokey, my kitty, found her inner peace keeper on a warm spring day while I was doing yard work.  She sat in her private stillness for at least ten minutes.  She was in the peace zone and nothing, not even my camera, could disturb her serenity.

You don’t have to look outside of yourself to be at peace.  When you’re in prayer or meditation, imagine you facing yourself.  Look at your heart and see it expand.  Peace resides there.

Sometimes I wear the peace sign as a reminder to find a moment in my day to be like Mokey, like Jesus, like Buddah, like Mother Theresa, like many others….peace keepers.
